Hi Gail,
thank You very much for Your comment

Hello Gail, regarding your question about my baritone dulcimer. It was made by a local builder here in Northern Alberta, his name is Reg Davy and he lives in a little town called Fairview, Alberta. To my knowledge he has built about 20 dulcimers over the last 30 years, all different from each other except that they are all six string. He says he builds as the spirit moves him. He does fine work. The one I have, he sort of built to my specifications (you know how artists are). When he was finished building it, he didn't want to part with it, I had to really put my powers of persuasion into gear.
Very pretty dulcimer Gail. Can't wait to hear it.
Hi Gail,
thank you very much vor your comment.

I've tried to attach the pdf of the tab here. it never seemed to work on the discussion.
Let's see if it does here.
Those are called Hour drops I have 2 that shape. They are very pretty. His dulcimers are very easy to play they have a great low action so they don't hurt your fingers. There is one of those on craigs list also right now I think it had hummingbird sound holes on it. cost 325.00 most sell for 500.00 new in his shop.
If you do come up Gail he has a wonderful shop I go down about once a month. He is a very nice fella. He has some beautiful dulcimers. I love the walnut myself it has a beautiful mellow sound. I have 4 of his 2 cherry 1 walnut and a butternut. I love the walnut best.
