Bob, my brother made a ukulele with lace wood and wow, really nice sound too, besides looking so beautiful. this is another "take your breath away" BEAUTY. aloha, irene
Wonderful! I have a lacewood dulcimer that sounds (and looks) absolutely beautiful. I am surprised it's not used more often by luthiers. The contrast here with the maple is particularly striking.
Thanks Dusty- it is my first time using Lacewood, ( I am happy I git a little extra LOL ). You are right, it is a lovely wood, and kind-of easy to work with as well.

Thank you Steven! - yes it has a wonderful sound, bright and crisp. These woods coupled well for this instrument.
