Glad you liked the video, Goril. Now you've got to post a video of you playing the Langeleik. Never heard what one sounds like. Also, glad you sent the friend request.
Jim, you got out of the gate in good form! (I still get at least a little nervous sometimes when recording. ) You handled the note on the bass string nicely, too.
That's lovely Jim 3/4 is quite difficult to catch as Strumelia said - and you got it perfect. That tune fits noter playing so well, it just sounds "right". It is great to see so much tradtional playing going on here on FOTMD
Something very 'old world' sounding about that lovely waltz. For me it's always a bit tricky to strum in 3/4 time ...great job, Jim!- you make it sound very natural.
What a place to sit and play a tune like this, (maybe would have been better in the fall ???) I've waited a long time to see you playing Jim, hearty cogratulations !!! Another one to try to learn for me ! What comes next for you ?

Great, great, great!
Very nice Jim! Thanks for sharing. :)

Yep, that's my snark!
Dusty, I'll have to go check out the music store to see if they have them. It will come in handy for the festival. Thanks
Thanks everyone for your more than kind comments. I'm over the first video jitters now.
Unfortunately, Mandy, hardly ever see a deer in the yard.
Great job Jim, and wonderfully comfy looking porch there! Perfect for playing and watching the birds. Bet the deer walk right by too. I miss that!
Nice job, Jim. I'll have to learn that song as well, chord/melody style. It's a nice tune to play with a noter, though. You did just fine.
That's a keeper! Nice job!

Nice playing, Jim. Very patient but steady approach.
Patty from VA, I believe that is a blue Snark tuner Jim's got there. I've got a red one and love it.

Jim, I love it. Yes, you did it justice I think you did. Hey is that blue thing on the head a tuner?
