Thank you everyone for you kind comments, they really are encouraging. I never post anything intending it to be a virtuoso performance, rather just a sharing of what I am, as I would when among friends. (I'll think on your status JohnK, lol) Anyway, you'll all be glad to know that I am now 'epenetteless', the two that I have made so far have now both found new owners. Who knows tho', they may post here sometime.............?

Loved it. Enjoyed the verses before and after too. I'm inspired to pick up my scheitholt.
I love it!! Wow, listening to that really put me in the Christmas spirit just now.....sounds so crispy and sparkly- you play it so beautifully! I like the 'old lusty wassailer's voice' too.
That's one of my favorite Christmas carols, because it sounds so Elizabethan somehow.
Nice. The final verse I've never heard. LOL Interesting slant to a lovely old Wassail. Hope you have a happy and healthy holiday season and lots of good cheer.
Waes Hail! Drink Hail!

Very nice! I was totally unfamiliar with this tune (and with the verses).
What a rounding fine version you've made, John!
