I LOVE the Keith Young instrument. It has become my "go to" dulcimer for playing most things now. It has a mix of the "traditional" and "modern" tones that suit my ear. It's very easy to tune (and stay in tune) and the fretting is easy. It has good volume for a small (at least smaller than some of mine) instrument. I'm really glad I got it; I only wish I had gotten one from him when he repaired my Fred Martin in about 1990/1991.
Love this version of Cluck Old Hen Rob
Thank you Brian, and Sue! I'm glad y'all enjoyed it.
Rob

Rob ... truly an inspiration ..........
The Cluckold
And all the while the keep did steep
In woeful pain a pity
For were th dame a clucked old hen
Or medlin mean arsed bitty
Th minstrel plucked wi knowin nod
An knowed her bodice coloured
Wryly furled agin th green
Of Tate th stable dullard
O sing ye now in kept refrain
To let hear all th ages
Mark ye well sooth an scribe
Her turning of her pages
As kine she meadowd all th court
Let show th queen her favors
Until alas th king spew forth
A vow to grant nae waivers
He unto vaulted chamers crept
And in his hand a dagger
Whence did th laird wi phallic deft
Command th blade to jag er
Then come th blooded balance true
Once tit for tat were given
That this paean would stand in time
As warnin to th livin
awesome sounding Lackey!
