An early Mountain Dulcimer and case, 1984
I built this Mountain Dulcimer and case back in '84. I had no plans to follow, just what I learned from a Foxfire book that I found in the library. It's aged well!
Dulcimer Number 100
I completed my 100th build, made of Western Red Cedar top, Curly Maple sides and Quilted Maple bottom with Black Walnut scroll and tail block and fingerboard overlay on Mahogany.
Number 99
This is my 99th Mountain Dulcimer (since I began numbering them). Made of Lacewood with Curly Maple and Mahogany with Black Walnut fingerboard overlay.
