The bridge shown here has been replaced with one which is 1/4" thick, (this and a new nut fashioned from Black Buffalo Horn) housed into the fretboard, and 'sculpted' to give give near perfect intonation at this stringing, bit of an overkill for noter drone, but I shan't be around for ever !!! IMO the bone gives a better sound than the ebony shown in the pic ?
Yep ! Beginning to sound good, not bad considering the timber it came from had been consigned to acting as a bearer for other stuff !!! Thanks for posting Strumelia.
