Played with noter on a Mahogany and Spruce Epinette, tuned GG,GG, CC , which at last is near to joining its new owner ! (who may, as he is a member here, grace us with a tune or tune with it ???)
Hello Beth, thank you for your comment about the Epinette, tho' it has obvious limitations , anyone who is happy using a noter would find it easy to play. Having made a couple recently for others, I have now cut timber to make 'one for me', 'COS I'M HOOKED !
Bill, its good to have you listen to me ! Could do with that band saw of yours, have aquired some decent cherry ,but will have to resort to my trusty five teeth to the inch rip saw ( when I can find some energy, lol)
John, yes, I think I have 'played it in' for you!!! it's time for it to find it's way to Kingswood now. Will try to get to your gig on Wednesday.
Wayne , thanks for the comment, sorry about the shirt, it was to give JohnK something to moan about really, the full message reads "Mr Grumpy" (and I have socks to match !). Grandchildren can be so lovin', sometimes, lol)
Val, Strumelia used the term 'lovely', Erin and Dana 'sweet', and joaquin said it was nice ! Your comment ? "The bottle is coming out" !!! You sure do know how to pay a compliment, LOL .
Brian, I have to make additional instruments, it saves hugely on ' retuning ', lol ! (ejoyed your "All Thro' The Night", another standard we sung at school eon's ago, tho' not quite as fast!)
Great job, John. I agree with the other John - the shirt rocks as well! Seriously, I love that you actually made the instrument you are playing. I have serious respect for people with the skill (and the desire) to do that. Thanks for sharing. :)
Thank you Mary, its a fun thing to play as well !!
John
Pretty instrument :)

Beautifully played, John. And the epinette sounds better and better!
That was very pretty! I love the sound of the epinette, it's very rich.
