For sure noter plays large part in expression/effects. I have been sending vids with noter centric topics to Steve Siefert don't know what he does with them ask him at website or email. I think one may address your question Maestro.

Haha how do I get o to this mailing list randy

I noticed at certain parts of your song, you picked up your noter in between notes.

I like the effect it creates, like the high drone string on a banjo

That is a real fun tune!  Thank you for sharing.  As a newbie dulcimer player, I have a question for you.  I noticed at certain parts of your song, you picked up your noter in between notes.  It was always at the same parts of the melody so I am assuming there is a purpose for it.  What is the purpose of picking up the noter at that part of the song?  Was there anything in the music that indicated you should do it or was it interpretive?
