Thank you all for your kind comments. My girlfriend was absolutely blown-away by the cane when I presented it to her. I had told her I was working on "Project X"some time before this, and had her wondering just what it might be. One problem (to me) was that she didn't want totry using it, for fear that she would break or damage it. But I wanted her to try it out as a cane, to see what improvementsI could make inmy design. One thingI would like to add is some sort of cover, to protect it in inclement weather. But to take a working cane, to sit down and place it across your lap, and start playing actual music is a compelling concept to me.
That is just plain cool!
Thats neat, i`ve done canes already with cigar box guitars built in them.
Wow I need one of them since I have to use a cane to walk with.
