Do you still make these?
This dulcimer has been sold since the last post.
I'm glad you all are enjoying it. I just wish I could make a recording to post so you could actually hear it.
My computer isn't that advanced.
Wow - what a looker! Makes me drool!
That is a cool looking dulcimer!!! I would love to hear it
Thanks a lot, everyone!
Wow John! Great work. About as far from a Thomas replica as you can get. Now we KNOW you're a Master Luthier.
Love this John! I've been thinking about doing an electric (possibly solid body) build. Any suggestions?
Thanks, Helen and Bob!
It was such a departure from "normal" dulcimer building. Really it was more like making an electric guitar than a dulcimer. But I thoroughly enjoyed all of the research I had to do, and the pen-and-ink designing/redesigning of this instrument. Can't tell just how many hours I invested in the thing, but it was a lot!
I just came across this photo and I must say I love what you did. Very creative and beautifully executed. Leo would be proud.
