You have a better collection than most on this side of the pond too John Henry. Between you, Geoff, and Robin you guys could start a fine display that would cover most makers.
Cheers Kevin, just thought I would mention it ! Chuckle, I would'nt mind betting that this photo illustrating a collection of near replica'dulcimers, left to right, a Sam Russell, a Charles Pritchard, a John Mawhee, and an Ed Thomas, is a first in the UK, tho' Geoff Black could probably trump it with a similar number of 'originals' from other respected makers !
Hello DeeDee, thanks for making comment!
John
All beauties and it'd be a pleasure to strum each one, John!

JH ,I have tried several different tunings . And as with you so far they all seem to work good.
Thanks Kevin !
John
( I don't know how much experimenting you have done with tunings on your Pritchards, but I ain't found a bad 'un yet ?)
I see three fixed bridges and one movable. So I guess The Prichard is the odd one.
Does any of the detail shown in the picture above offer a clue as to which of these dulcimers might be considered 'the odd one out' ?
