I like the mellow sound you get out of the instrument, Linda - brilliant playing as in all your recordings! :) Sometimes there are so many new videos here, that I just don't manage to listen and comment to all of them!
"And He walks with me, and He talks with me, And He tells me I am His own..." Absolutely beautiful LInda!!! Another favorite hymn of mine. Thank you for posting! I needed to hear this today
My "In the Garden" memory......a lady came up to me in church just before the service started and asked me if I knew this song and I said "yes" because I had sung it as a congregational hymn before and knew generally how it went. "Great!" was her reply. "We're doing a duet in about 5 minutes." I did it, but it must have been my guardian angels working out the on-the-spotharmony and doing the singing! This was my one and only duet performance in church!!!! Nice performance, Linda!

Thank you Helen and Kristi. Music does have the power to transport us doesn't it. . It amazes me that the song is 100 yrs old and is still moving people. :-) awesome
Sunday morning services in Colorado in the 1950s My brothers were in camp and this hymn was always sung. Your playing of In the Garden has just given me a happy flashback. Many thanks for a beautiful rendition.
wonderful Linda! It is a bit different seeing you doing a hymn as opposed to the Celtic music I've scene in your videos, but a good kind of different

Thanks John and Robin... I like it John. It sounds even better in person. This phone recording is not the best. Poor maple baby.

Yes Dusty. A friend got it on eBay but I fell in love with it. So now is mine. Has a beautiful tone , excellent sustain and bass , clear upper and good harmonics. Am loving it.

So soothing! After a long crazy day I so enjoyed hearing you play this!
Linda, it's really fun to hear you play something so clearly American and therefore different than the Celtic stuff that makes up most of your repertoire. Is that a new dulcimer? You seemto have arounder and softer sound than you do in some of your recentvideos. (Maybe that's a product of the recording or my speakers or something.)
It goes without saying that your playing is strikingly beautiful as always.
Thanks Lexie and james!
One of my favorite songs, Linda Jo you play so beautifully.
Thank you so much.
Thanks Peter, patty and Jan!!!!!

Sweet flageolet on the last note, by the way!
