Tune 75

Duration: 00:01:24
description:
Not sure if I made up this tune or not. I've never played it before but it seemed familiar and I knew how it went. Does this tune have a name?

Good job on Dry and Dusty Randy. Is it the theme song of those who work with concrete? I always enjoy your playing.

Ken

Randy, your playing is so enjoyable and it is a great tune played both ways.

Randy, great job.  I play this tune too.  Actually inspired by your 4-string recording.  I'll post it some time.

Randy, over the last few years I've watched lots of dulcimer videos and listened to even more sound bites. None I've seen/heard actually emulate your style. To me, you have a distinctive and very enjoyable style of playing. Dry and Dusty is another great example. I'd missed it first go 'round. Glad I caught it here.

That's some smooth playin' there, Randy!  Don't worry about what to call it...just play it!  thumbsup

Sorry, Randy, I can't understand this since I haven't heard tunes 1-74 yet. Can I get a plot summary?  ROTFL

Yeah, I play a version of Dry and Dusty, too, but our B parts seem to have little in common and the A part isn't exactly identical either. I guess that's why we call it folk music. You just play what you want and say "What the folk?"

Right you are Everritt! It's Dry and Dusty! I played it on the 4 string chromatic dulcimer before. No wonder it felt new with a noter.

Thanks very much Robin and Everritt

I like everything you play, Randy.  Your style is distinctive and sounds as old as the hills.  Way cool.

Thanks Kevin. This little 'A-scale' Prichard you made for me is perfect for my style of play.....the melody string really has some punch.
