I re-fretted, er...I mean re-toothpicked my dulcimer so banged on it for a bit. The old wooden frets lasted for quite a few years...lot longer than I thought they would. She's hungry!

ALOHA, this is sooooooooo cool.  I came to look to see if you had any pictures of your "tooth pick" frets....ahhhhhhh, rewarded to see you playing one of them.   THIS IS SUPER.....I pick up dulcimers here and there and some of the hand made ones are wayyyyyyyy off on their intoneation.  I'd like to try fixing one of them with toothpicks.   I need to know more about what kind of tooth picks you use.   round or flat?  I love seeing the dog come around here too.  I'm going to look at your others of you playing your "tooth pick" fretted dulcimers.   just wonderful.

Real nice, Randy.  yes

I love that you just make your own dulcimers and keep changing them around when you get new ideas.... like it was nothing.  They always sound so good, too!
