we don't work much in the winter Steve so I go on a 3 month dulcimer binge play em all have paid attention and learned good things on the fretless this winter.
I would brake a little if I couldn't play the notes clearly. Most of the tunes benefit from a little slower pace but NC may suffer it's a simple tune.
I've been playing in DAd for a few days here what a wonderful noter tuning, not an anathema, a step or so lower on NC. I play in 3 tunings with starting/ending notes on 0 fret (dAd) 3rd fret (dAA/dGd) 4th fret (dGC/dAG) octave high bass string. Am able to fit most tunes to the fretboard advantageously, mostly equal considerations given to mode & fretboard fit.
Are you playing your fretless instrument?

Wow! I had to check the playback speed on this one. I thought maybe it was set at 1.5 or something. Slow down there, Randy! I can't listen that fast.
Think I just rode the tour bus to Noter City
Uh-huh you gotta strap in when you go to Noter City : )
Should have fastened my seatbelt!
