This tune has been the bane of my existence for the past 3 weeks... : )...just can't play it the way I'd like....I had to fix the audio in a couple spots. But I have learned a lot and become a better dulcimer player b/c of it. I'll come back to it some other time and work on it again. This is a banjo tune I learned from Da Costa Woltz's Southern Broadcasters. Frank Jenkins plays the banjo on it. http://www.myspace.com/southernbroadcasters

This is still one of my favorite dulcimer performances. It knocks me out every time.

Randy, that's really pretty. If I werent' watching a video, I would assume you were fingerpicking. Your pick must be moving really fast. Good stuff.

That's about the most back-handed compliment I ever got Robin!... : )....but I know what you mean. I'm kinda into these gritless tunes for a little while here.... : )...Yeah it's only slow compared to the banjo huh Ken? I'm honored that you listen to it and take the time to comment.Thx Lori!

That's gonna get heavy rotation out here in Bucks County. The right hand work is great, and it sure don't sound slow to me. Especially if you look at how fast that pick is moving. This is one of your best, I think.

Thx mis amigos!Dana I think you watched it while I was still posting it, before I had the title entered!... : )...John Henry this tune is mostly in the right hand...like a lot of banjo tunes....& that is what was frustrating me...I wanna play it as fast as Frank Jenkins & can't do it....I'm startin to build up a head of steam tho!...I'm tuned DF#Ad.

Randy, I think this tune is the one I like best of all the stuff you have posted, complex fingerwork made to look ALMOST easy...LOL, not something that I shall be able to rattle off tomorrow, but certainly something that I will listen to many times............thank you!Could I ask how are you tuned...........?JohnH
