Thank you for the welcome, that's lovely
Thanks for the welcome, Richard! I'm glad to be here and look forward to learning a lot.
Thanks for the warm welcome, Richard. I feel fortunate to have found such a great site full of wonderful dulcimer enthusiasts.
Thanks for the welcome, I am excited to have my dulcimer back after a few years of lending it to someone; my fingers are starting to remember what to do.
Thank you so much for the kind words of welcome! How cool that you heard the instrument at Disney and then came home and ordered your own. Awesome!
Thank you so much.
Thank you Richard, it's good to be back !
Thank you Richard. I actually was a member a few years ago, but haven't been on in a couple of years. Looking forward to getting back into it.
Thank you for the warm welcome Richard. Really looking forward to participating in this community. What I have read on the Dulcimer is that it is an easy instrument to learn. But I haven't found anything easy about it yet!! lol This may just be what I need to get me going. Looking forward to the journey.
Richard thank you so much for supporting FOTMD.
Thank you, glad I found it also!
Thank you for your warm welcome.
Many thanks for your warm welcome!
Thanks for the friendly welcome, Richard! I look forward to getting to know more about the dulcimer, and more about the community!
The Warren May dulcimers are very beautiful, he sells on Facebook too but they were a little out of my league - not overpriced but taxes and postage to UK can be quite high
Walnut Valley had a kiosk at Epcot Center, Walt Disney World . That is where I saw them first, picked up the brochure in October 1991 saved it and ordered my first dulcimer from them receiving it in early 1993. I have purchased several used dulcimores which were hardly played at all. I got one McSpadden used which still had the pick and noter stick in a little envelope which was still sealed up. I have a Warren May dulcimer a man purchased going through Berea Kentucky, stopped at the shop and purchased it and never played it. He gave it to his sister who sold it to me. Some sweet deal out there sometimes.
Have a great day.
